JOB SUMMARY:

This role is ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, has a basic understanding of mowing operations, and takes pride in the work they do. 

Since 2009, Midwest Services Group, LLC,  has been a leading provider of Contractor Services in the Energy and Renewable Energy Industry. We provide a wide range of services through our Civil, Restoration, Vegetation Management, Pipeline Construction, and Right-of-Way Clearing services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with a 5-7 person crew
  • Operate mowing equipment on a Large Solar Field Project in Delavan, Wisconsin
  • Inspect and maintain mowing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Gain hands-on experience in the Renewable Energy Industry 
  • Ensure mowing tasks are completed to company standards and within scheduled timeframes
  • Follow safety procedures and proper techniques when handling equipment
  • Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE will be provided by company, including Fire Resistant clothing)

SCHEDULE:

  • Average hours per week: 60 (overtime rate of 1.5 times regular wage after 40 hours)
  • Average days per week: 6 
  • 6 month project - Opportunity to become a Traveling Laborer after project is completed end of 2025. (This would include paid per diem)
